Holiday Sessions Manalapan NJ
Anne Ellen’s Tree Farm
Our 2020 Holiday Sessions Manalapan NJ, were a MAJOR success this year. We had 14 families & couples to book sessions. We were only going to do one weekend this year, but we had such a demand for a second weekend that we decided to book another day of Holiday sessions. We even got 2 families and a couple to book for the 2021 Holiday Sessions. Holiday Sessions Manalapan NJ
I was researching places close by that would be close enough to my house, and I stumbled upon Anne Ellen’s Tree Farm in Manalapan, NJ. This place was big, beautiful, and crowded. We had no problem finding spots to shoot in, and since everything was relatively the same, we stuck to the same area. Holiday Sessions Manalapan NJ
I always love the holiday season and wanted to do Holiday mini sessions. This is the only time of year that I offer family sessions. I don’t accept families throughout the year because it takes away from engagement sessions and weddings. As much as I would love to take on family sessions and expand my brand, it is just a lot to handle 50+ weddings and engagements a year.
Since this is the end of the season and some downtime for me, I open up my calendar for Holiday sessions to cater to families and couples for their holiday cards.
It was great to see old friends and past clients and families that I have been photographing for 5 years. I love having repeat clients, and when I get the chance to photograph amazing people, it brings me joy to see the reaction on their faces when delivering the images.
We started the first weekend with families, pups, and a few couples. One of my first couples came out for their Christmas Cards, Gina and Tim, with their dog Brewster. Alexis and Spencer brought their 2 pups, Sage and Ace. Sage is a 3-month-old Corgie and the cutest pup. Alexis told me that she was special. Holiday Sessions Manalapan NJ
Ava and Brian brought their pup Murphy, and Ina and Anthony brought their two pups as well. I love photographing pups with my engagement & couples sessions.
We had SO many props to work with; my favorite was the mistletoe. There was love in the air for our couples, and why not spice it up with some mistletoe. Next year, I think I’m going to bring the mistletoe on a rod and hold it over them instead of one of them holding the mistletoe. Candy Canes were a big hit, and so were the lights. Some couples brought signs and really got into the holiday spirit. Holiday Sessions Manalapan NJ
After the first weekend, the tree farm reached out to me via Instagram and asked me to send over some photos to use for their Instagram. It is always one goal for photographers to have their work featured on social media pages and websites of venues or locations they shoot at. When we went back for the second weekend, Jackie, the woman who reached out to me, asked me to come in and introduce myself. She said it was nice to put a name to a face and was excited to see more images we took for the second weekend.
I cannot thank everyone enough who came out for both weekends of our 2020 holiday mini sessions. It is an honor to photograph every one of you. I truly love what I do, and I can’t wait for our 2021 holiday sessions. We will be back next year the same weekend to do more of these sessions; if you are interested, head over to our contact page and inquire about next year. Holiday Sessions Manalapan NJ
