All brides dream of their wedding day, what their dress will be like, the colors, the season, maybe even what songs they’ll dance to.
But when you dream of your wedding day do you ever imagine you’re on your own island with a castle?!
For some lucky couples, Glen Island Harbour Club becomes that real-life fairytale wedding of their dreams.
Located in Westchester County, NY — this waterfront venue really is a storybook setting.
With a beautiful chapel, breathtaking views of the NY Bridges Skyline, and bridal suites that usher you into your wedding day in luxury there’s nothing missing with Glen Island Harbour Club.
If you’re into places that exude character, this venue has a unique history that makes it even more charming.
In 1879 this was the place of businessman John Starin’s summer resort.
In the late 19th century the German Rhine-like castles were constructed for a beer garden and restaurant.
In 1930 the site became The Glen Island Casino, ushering in the Big Band Era.
Today the Glen Island Harbour Club is a renovated and renowned waterfront destination for wedding couples in the Westchester area.
Alex and Eric are one of those lucky couples that celebrated their love at Glen Island.
Tom Russo Photography was overjoyed to capture the special day and we asked Alex and Eric to share more about their day with us.
Read below to experience in their own words how their wedding at Glen Island Club went.

Any advice for couples getting married?!
1) Have FUN with the planning.
2) Expect that some people won’t show up or will cancel last minute. I had someone pull out of coming to our wedding as I was picking up my dress. Totally not something we expected, but know that it may happen for one reason or another. Have an idea for B list people who won’t mind just coming to have a great time, yummy food, and a fun party. We had fantastic B list guests who didn’t mind the last minute phone call and had an awesome time.
